Answer to Last Week’s Trivia Question: Fortune, Anne, and Little James arrived in Plymouth soon after the Mayflower, bringing additional settlers to the colony. These three ships arrived in 1621 and 1623, bringing more settlers to Plymouth. Passengers from the Mayflower and these early ships were later known as the "Old Comers" and were given special treatment in colonial affairs.

Get ready for a celestial spectacle! The waxing crescent Moon, now 28.5% illuminated, will be visible until it sets at 10:34 PM, casting a soft glow across the night sky. Planets will make their nightly appearances, with Venus shining brightly after sunset before setting at 8:01 PM, while Jupiter and Mars offer great visibility, setting at 1:02 AM and 3:53 AM, respectively. Mercury and Saturn will be difficult to spot, while Uranus and Neptune require binoculars for viewing. Uranus lingers until 11:28 PM, while Neptune quickly disappears after 6:46 PM. Asteroid watchers will have plenty to observe, as several—including 4 Vesta and 15 Eunomia—are well-positioned for small telescopes. A particularly close celestial encounter occurs tonight as Comet C/2021 G2 (Atlas) and Asteroid 9 Metis align in the sky. Looking ahead, don’t miss the first total lunar eclipse of 2025, happening March 13–14!

Until next week - I’ll see you out there. Don’t hesitate to reach out to say hi!
